Yesterday I decided that I needed to get out of the house and really snap a ton of photos.
So that's exactly what I did. I was leaning more towards documenting my day and what goes on
throughout the day. Here are some pictures from yesterday and the basic explanations of
what they're all about B-)

The normal routine of getting on a public bus. It started raining after a while and got super cold inside, it was almost necessary for me to get mad at myself because before I left the house, I picked up and umbrella, left it on the table, and forgot it- but then again, it stopped raining before I had to get off. Saved!
The BTS skytrain, thank god we have it around. Makes traveling around downtown hectic bangkok so much easier. (Yes, another foot shot). So I got out at Siam station and got myself ice cream, then I discovered these free brochures of art galleries directory they were giving out. I decided to start my "quest" of the day.
While on my way to the first gallery, I passed by this emptied out ex-clothing store. I thought to myself, what a perfect setting for a fashion shoot. Found out where to contact the owner of the lot, so hopefully will be able to figure out something for my next fashion shoot :D

Next to that shop was this one. A second hand clothing store I suppose? Except they had new clothes too that were quite overpriced for being in such a dodgy area. What caught my eye though was the fact that they had these paintings stacked up again the wall on the floor...and also the tacky pink smileys on their window.

Then I finally reached the first gallery. It's called "Whitespace". At first I thought the 'a' fell off... but then I found out it was intentional.

So here's the layout of the small gallery, and below are some art works inside it.

Then right next to whitespace was this other gallery called "delicate" (I think??) Where there was a post-rock gig going on. I checked it out and stood at that little corner next to the door :) Pretty alright music was going on.
So all those places visited were located on the 2nd floor of Lido Siam.
Before I left Lido, I was looking down through a window and saw this girl staring at shoes. Thought her style was pretty...unique. Except I'm not too sure about that huge bright green zebra tote bag...

I then took the BTS and got off at Thong Lor station where I took a longgggggg walk down the longgggggg road checking out other galleries. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of those.

Eventually I got hungry so I started making my way over to a district of japanese restaurants down at Phrom Phong station across Emporium. Now I passed by this pharmacy, what a sketchy name for a pharmacy don't you think?

Finally got to the destination. Amazing ramen (japanese noodles). I was here a few years back for my 15th birthday with my brother Phil and was here again maybe a few months back with both Phil and Van right before a gig we played. Amazing fooooood.
So I ate at the counter since it was just me. It's always good to have an open kitchen for a few reasons:
1.) it smells awesome
2.) at least you know they're not spitting in your food

As I was taking pictures, this bitch of a waitress came up to me all like "oh excuse me miss, you can't take photos in here" I'm like oh okay I'm sorry. But she came back 5 seconds after I've already put my camera away and goes "excuse me, see? there's a sticker on the wall right here that says no taking photos inside". I'm like ....okay I got that..it's in my bag now...what!? Anyway after that I got a call from Martin to go hang with him and his girl at their new flat down around On Nut area.

Martin picked me up from the BTS station on the new superbike he bought. I thought we'd camewhore with helmets for the hell of it.
Here's the bike and the dork that's on it with her bottle of tea from 7-11.

The pool at their place was pretty legit.

Hallway.
I have the same disco ball in MY room. But I must admit that's a pretty neat little spot to place one.

We spent hours and hours burning my DVD, watching Fashion TV, and Top Chef

The empty BTS station at 11.30pm, pretty creepy if you ask me.

My bro then picked me up and we ended up at Van's bday bash at this small bar near our place. The first thing I saw? This huge whisky bottle size of a gasoline gallon- even looks like one.

There it goes.

Atmosphere.

Ended up super hungry and hide street food - those ...roasted squid.
End of my long long long eventful day :D
